What is Bitumen?

Bitumen is a hydrocarbon-based material that is highly viscous and waterproof. It is used mainly as a binder in asphalt mixtures and for protective coatings in various industries. Its properties include high durability, water resistance, and temperature stability

Types of Bitumen

Bitumen is classified into several types based on production methods and applications:

1. Penetration Grade Bitumen

2. Performance Grade (PG) Bitumen

4. Cutback Bitumen

6. Polymer-Modified Bitumen (PMB)
